Dear Friends,
For the past 12 years The Fran Delaney Foundation has worked diligently to raise awareness and research money to combat Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, ALS. Over the years, our Foundation has raised over $2.3M through an all volunteer effort. In particular, the Sky Meadow Golf Tournament in Fran's honor, raised over $950,000.
A decision has been made by the Fran Delaney Tournament Committee to not continue with the Sky Meadow Golf event. This decision was a difficult one to come to but consensus was reached that it was time for us to close down this chapter of our fight against ALS. We all are very proud and happy to have honored Fran's memory for so long and to have been a part of the history that will produce therapies for this dreadful disease.
The Fran Delaney Foundation donations supported the work at ALS Therapy Development Institute, the ALS Multidisciplinary Clinic at Massachusetts General Hospital and the Robert Packard ALS Research Center at Johns Hopkins.

Our 2011 Fran Delaney Foundation Golf Tournament was held at Sky Meadow Country Club for the eleventh year. We raised over $65,000, which we will direct to Massachusetts General Hospital and the ALS Therapy Development Institute in Cambridge, MA. We thank our sponsors, golfers, prize donors and our volunteers for making this event such a wonderful success! The date for our 2012 Tournament has been set! We will have a 12:00 shotgun start on Monday, September 17, 2012.
